Vince Arena, Chief Marketing Officer
Vince brings over twenty-five years of preneed and funeral industry experience to the TSLIC Family1® team. He has built a foundation of success by emphasizing our commitment to the funeral directors, sales agents and customers we service. As Chief Marketing Officer, he consults regularly with funeral home owners, location managers and marketing groups to help create solutions for securing constancy, industry awareness, product development and sales initiatives. Vince leads our sales and marketing teams by setting standards that allow us to achieve our goals while continually focusing our organization on innovation and exemplary customer service. Raised in Beaumont, Texas, Vince now lives with his family, in Austin, Texas. He is a graduate of Texas Tech University and a member of various professional and philanthropic organizations.
Ruben Ontiveros, Vice President, Director of Sales
A member of the TSLIC team since 2003, Ruben has built a reputation based on his commitment to our funeral directors, our sales agents and our customers. As Vice-President, Director of Sales, he works closely with the Sales Team to provide our Directors of Sales and agents with the support and training they need to achieve their goals. With a focus on innovation and exemplary customer service, Ruben continually strives to enhance and improve the products and services our funeral home clients provide to the communities they serve. A Certified Planning Consultant, a board member of the Texas Funeral Directors Association, and President of the Texas Funeral Suppliers Association Ruben has developed an extensive network and thorough understanding of what it means to work in the Texas funeral industry.
Armando Dominguez, Regional Sales Director, Houston / Southeast Texas
Armando brings over 30 years of customer service and sales experience to TSLIC. With strong ties to the Houston community, he is experienced in marketing to a bilingual clientele and crafting community outreach programs and services. Armando is dedicated to providing ongoing support and mentoring to the agents working in his area. Working closely with our funeral home clients, Armando continually strives to develop innovative approaches that will help grow and improve their business and product offerings. Armando attended the Universidad Popular Autonoma del Estado de Puebla (UPAEP) and Grand Canyon University, where he received a Bachelor of Science in Special Education.
Heather Hauboldt, Regional Sales Director, DFW / South Central Texas
Coming from a family owned funeral home background, Heather’s dedication and commitment to serve her community has always been an important part of her life. Licensed since 1993, Heather is a second-generation licensed funeral director and embalmer. She is a graduate of the Dallas Institute of Funeral Service and also has a Bachelor’s Degree from Angelo State University. She brings nearly 25 years of experience working with funeral homes from the Dallas/Ft. Worth area and surrounding communities to her role as Regional Director of Sales. With her solid industry background, Heather has the tools and experience to help her clients and agents grow their business while providing outstanding service to the communities they serve. She and her husband Charles own four funeral homes, four cemeteries and a crematory in Victoria, Goliad, Port Lavaca and Beeville. Heather is a past President of the Texas Funeral Directors Association, Past President of the North Texas Funeral Directors Association, is a member of the Pi Sigma Eta Fraternity, the National Funeral Directors Association and the American Business Women’s Association.
Blanca Vallejo, Regional Sales Director, South Texas
Blanca Vallejo is a proud Austin born and raised native. She began her career at TSLIC over a decade ago, joining the company as the New Business Manager. Later serving as Director of Training, before moving into the Regional Sales Director role. Blanca brings extensive industry experience and a keen understanding of the needs of our customers and funeral home partners. Her bilingual abilities and willingness to engage new agents and employees on a personal level ensure that they are well prepared and can confidently represent the best interests of our clients and partners. When you make Texas Service Life your preferred preneed partner, you can count on Blanca to be at the forefront of providing the training and support your funeral home or agency require. Blanca is an active member of the Hispanic Women’s Network of Texas and American Association of Notaries. She is also a volunteer at her local church, in addition to serving as an R.E. Adult Formation Teacher and lector.
Aurelio Calero, Sales Director, North Texas
Aurelio Calero has 27+ years of experience in the insurance industry. Most recently he was leading sales by creating and maintaining strategic alliances with independent funeral homes in the San Antonio and Austin markets and surrounding areas. He is a senior operations and sales leader with demonstrated accomplishments in recruitment, training, and development of an independent sales force to support the Preneed sales efforts of funeral homes. Previous experience includes positions as Market Sales Manager achieving Rookie of the Year and other awards, which garnered him a promotion to the Regional Sales Manager role for the San Antonio/Austin markets. Aurelio has been married to Lynn for 34 years, they have two grown children together, Megan and Corey. He also has a Master’s Degree in Management from Pacific Western University.
Ronald Loe, Sales Director, East Texas
Ronald has worked for over 30 years in the Preneed Industry, serving as agent, Certified Preneed Consultant, manager, regional manager, Compliance Officer, and Vice President, Chief Marketing Officer. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration and Marketing degree from the University of North Texas. He has been married to Paula for 44 years. They have 2 daughters, one son, and 6 grandchildren. He loves to teach the Bible and tell others about his Lord. Living in Longview, where he grew up, Ronald and Paula are looking forward to this new chapter of their lives working with the Texas Service Life Family!
Austin Callaway, Sales Operations Director
Austin Callaway has been with Texas Service Life for over ten years. With experience in commissions, customer service, marketing and new business, Austin has gained a solid understanding of how to best serve our agents and funeral home clients. As Sales Operations Director, his focus is on serving agent and funeral homes to help them increase productivity. Austin is recognized for providing the best customer service possible while keeping a positive attitude that is contagious to those around him.
Araceli Longoria, Marketing Director
Araceli Longoria comes to Texas Service Life with a broad-based background in all aspects of Business Development & Operations Management including: strategic planning & execution, distribution & logistics, change management practices, leading & supporting Lean efforts, working with cross functional teams, and customer service operations. She has a strong business acumen with the ability to execute a wide range of sales/marketing strategies. She possesses highly developed communications, negotiations, organizational and interpersonal skills to cultivate positive relationships and strategic alliances with our customers. Araceli holds BS degree from The University of Texas at Austin. Multicultural and fluent in Spanish.
